AS Dagang Tianjin DG‑AS106
AS Dagang Tianjin DG‑AS106
Product Introduction AS Tianjin Dagang DG‑AS106 is a high‑transparency, high‑rigidity and high‑strength acrylonitrile‑styrene copolymer (SAN) resin. It combines good heat resistance and excellent processability.
Main Applications
Electronic, Electrical & Household‑Appliance Components: TV bases, cassette cases, electrical sockets, housings, transparent panels for electrical products, storage‑battery enclosures, junction boxes, etc. Satisfies component requirements with favorable electrical insulation performance, mechanical strength and transparency.
Daily‑use & Consumer Goods: Refrigerator internal fruit‑vegetable boxes, food containers, cosmetic packaging, toys such as building blocks, luggage shells, vacuum‑cleaner parts, stationery and other articles. Suitable for these applications due to its transparency and moderate strength.
General Industrial Components: Instrument casings, dashboards, battery boxes, lighting fixtures, building‑material products such as decorative panels, sports equipment.
Automotive Industry: Though not explicitly specified, its performance characteristics make it suitable for certain automotive interior non‑critical parts requiring transparency and strength, e.g. instrument panels and air‑conditioner air outlets.

Injection‑Molding Parameters
| Process Parameter | Reference Range | Remarks & Instructions |
|---|---|---|
| Drying Treatment | 80‑100°C (normally 85‑100°C), 2‑4 hours | AS resin is hygroscopic. Sufficient drying is required, otherwise silver streaks and bubbles may appear on molded‑part surfaces. |
| Barrel Temperature | Rear zone:180‑210℃ (general range) Middle zone:200‑230℃ (general range) Front zone:220‑250℃ (general range) Nozzle: Slightly lower than front‑zone temperature to prevent drooling |
‑ |
| Mold Temperature | 35‑80℃ or 50‑60℃; 60‑80℃ for high‑gloss & high‑heat‑resistance parts | Adopt lower values for high‑precision molded parts; adopt higher values for parts requiring good surface gloss and heat resistance. |
| Injection Pressure | 70‑130 MPa (approx.700‑1300 kg/cm²) | Adjust according to flow length and product structure. Relatively high injection pressure is normally required for AS resin to ensure full filling. |
| Holding Pressure | Approx.30%‑60% of injection pressure | Optimize according to wall thickness and product structure to reduce internal stress and shrinkage. |
| Injection Speed | Medium or high speed | High‑speed injection improves surface gloss and reduces weld‑lines, yet may cause gas‑mark defects; adjust according to practical conditions. |
| Back Pressure | 10‑20 MPa (approx.100‑200 kg/cm²) | Moderate back‑pressure ensures uniform plasticization and degassing. |
| Screw Speed | Medium speed, 50‑80 rpm recommended | Ensure uniform plasticization; avoid excessive speed to prevent shear overheating. |
